Inwood Community Services, Inc. (ICS) is the premier literacy provider in
Community Board #12. ICS presently offers 13 classes (12 English for Speakers of
Other Languages classes — Levels I through III, and a Basic Education
Class in Spanish and English) to the adult community of Inwood-Washington
Heights. The classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings each week at IS
52. ICS also has an ESOL Lab on site where students can utilize PC driven
programs to enhance their language skills.
